Brazil vs. Switzerland

setting the stage

Brazil (1-0-0) is aiming for a record 17 straight games without losing in the World Cup group stage after earning a win over Serbia in their opener on Thursday. Brazil will be without their superstar captain Neymar, who suffered a right ankle injury in the team’s first group game once again this week.

Due to the severity of the injury, Neymar is expected to miss the rest of the group stage and possibly even the first round of 16 games. However, this is yet to be determined as it is possible that he will be able to rehab the ankle in a week or two to return to the knockout stage.

On the other hand, Switzerland (1-0-0) are also unbeaten so far in the tournament after defeating Cameroon in their opener early last week.

Stay tuned for updates!
