St Helens again favorite to win Super League in 2023

St Helens are again the favorites to win the Super League in 2023 with the latest odds revealed by the bookmakers.

With heaven bet, St Helens are favorites at odds of 2/1 to lift their fifth successive Super League trophy in the Grand Final. The Totally Wicked Stadium side made history in 2022, becoming the first team to win the competition four times in a row following a 24-12 win over Leeds at Old Trafford.

Wigan, who failed to secure a place in the final but lifted the Challenge Cup last year, are second favorite at odds of 4/1. Matt Peet’s Warriors were knocked out of the semi-finals by finalists Leeds at the DW Stadium in 2022.

The Catalans are third favourites, with Leeds fourth at 8/1 as Rohan Smith conducts his first pre-season at Headingley Stadium.

Daryl Powell’s Warrington is also at odds of 8/1, having finished last season in 11th place with just nine wins out of 27.

Newly promoted Leigh is at 25/1, the same odds as Salford and better than Hull KR at 50/1. Adrian Lam’s side earned promotion to the Super League following their impressive 2022 season, losing just one game all year and defeating Batley in the championship final. They also claimed the 1895 Cup over Featherstone at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Wakefield Trinity are 100/1 to lift the trophy, the least likely according to heaven bet.

Unsurprisingly, St Helens are also favorites to lift the League Leaders Shield once again. Paul Wellens will take charge of the team for the first time in 2023 following the departure of Woolf, who joined the Dolphins for their inaugural NRL season.
