Starbucks and DoorDash team up to expand delivery service

Starbuck has partnered with the DoorDash delivery service and now you can order your cup of coffee online or in the DoorDash app and have it delivered. Talk about comfort.

The delivery service launched Tuesday in Texas, Northern California, Georgia, Florida and other select markets. Starbucks delivery with DoorDash will expand in all 50 states by March 2023, Starbucks said in a news release.

According to the press release, US customers will be able to access Starbucks delivery through DoorDash on iOS and Android devices, in addition to DoorDash.com. Key features of the delivery program include:

— Immediate Delivery: Orders placed through the DoorDash platform will be delivered by an extensive network of Dashers, designed for fast and secure delivery so customers can enjoy their Starbucks food and drink right away. Customers can track their orders through DoorDash from fulfillment to delivery.

— Delivered Fresh: Starbucks has developed packaging solutions to help ensure the quality of hot and cold menu items, including beverage stickers to prevent spillage, tamper-evident packaging and delivery-specific cup holders.

— Personalization: Starbucks will offer approximately 95% of its core menu items on DoorDash and, just as they would at Starbucks, customers can customize their orders within the DoorDash app, including the ability to choose the amount of syrup, the type of milk and espresso. roasts

DashPass, DoorDash’s monthly membership program, provides customers who order Starbucks on DoorDash with $0 delivery fees and the lowest service fees available on every order of $12 or more. Standard delivery and service fees apply to all other orders.
