Tumblr began rolling out polls to Android, iOS and the web on Thursday.
The platform said in a blog post that users with access to the feature can click the orange survey icon (in the toolbar on mobile and which appears when a new content block is launched in the post editor). on desktop), write your question, and add between two and 10 options for readers to choose from.
Polls can be set to run for a day or a week, and their creators can add comments if they want.
Tumblr wrote in their blog post: “And, as with any post, you can toggle who sees the poll using your community tags. Or you can go crazy and Blaze if you meet the content guidelines for Blazing. Did you find a survey in nature? Say your opinion! Click on the chosen answer. Congratulations, you just expressed an opinion. And that’s all there is to it. Have fun out there.”
