Gaming payment processor Zebedee and Viker, a mobile game studio, have released games that can reward players with Bitcoin. Bitcoin Scratch and Bitcoin Chess are available for download on both iOS and Android and are the latest addition to the company’s gaming bouquet of classic games like Sudoku and Solitaire. Bitcoin Chess can be downloaded from the Playstore on Android and the App Store on iOS. As of Saturday, the app had more than a billion downloads.

So far, the two companies, Zebedee and Viker, have produced 10 games in the Bitcoin-powered P2E model.

A project of Zebedee and Viker, a mobile game studio, Bitcoin Chess allows participants to earn Bitcoins (BTC) in small amounts while playing the traditional game of chess. Players are reportedly rewarded in Satoshis (Sats), the smallest unit of BTC that equals 0.00000001 Bitcoin. Users can redeem Sat through the Zebedee payment interface.

“These are not huge amounts of money, as players earn a few cents per session, which is what makes the concept sustainable,” Zebedee said in a press release. In Bitcoin Scratch, players receive packs of scratch cards. In case the cards contain matching symbols, players can claim rewards in the form of Satoshis. In each game, a player can earn up to 250 Satoshis.
