Drama ‘Ginny & Georgia’ Again Tops Netflix Weekly Broadcasting Until January 22

Second season of “ginny and georgia topped Netflix’s English-language television and general content chart for the third week in a row with 87.4 million hours streamed in 88 countries. The mother-daughter series, co-starring Antonia Gentry and Brianna Howey, has generated 430.6 million total hours watched after 21 days of launch.

The series surpassed the second season of “Vikings: Valhalla” with 55.5 million hours broadcast in its second week, and surpassed the perennial list “Wednesday” with another 45.7 million hours broadcast in 90 countries.

“Wednesday,” starring Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams from “The Addams Family,” has now racked up nearly 1.24 billion hours of airing nine weeks after its release.

feel-good family movie dog goneBased on a true story and starring Rob Lowe, it topped Netflix’s English-language film chart in its second week with nearly 21 million hours watched in 72 countries. The movie outdid Christian Bale starring the pale blue eye with 12.7 million hours viewed and nominated for an Oscar Crystal Onion: A Knives Out Mystery with 12 million hours.

In its fourth week on the Non-English Language TV chart, the third season of the Mexican drama “The Queen of the South” generated 54 million hours watched for the No. 1 spot, ahead of France’s “Women at War: Limited Series” with 24.5 million hours and South Korea’s “The Glory” with 24.2 million hours in its fourth week of release.

Finally, the South Korean sci-fi thriller JUNG_E it entered the Non-English Language Films chart at No. 1 with 19.3 million hours watched. That was good enough to delay the debut of majnu mission with 8.9 million hours, Noise with 3.4 million hours, and nominated for an Oscar All calm on the west front with 2.8 million hours in its ninth week of release.
